この季節ならではの美しさと味わいを感じながら、SHO Farmさんの美しい畑の中で、みなさまと共に花に親しみ、食卓を囲みながら語り合うひととき。

5年目を迎える今年は、新たな試みとして「場の共有」をテーマに、これまで以上に皆さまと一緒に楽しめる時間を目指して、タイトルも「Gathering Table」にリニューアルしました。

At Gathering Table, we come together in the beautiful fields of SHO Farm to enjoy the flowers and food of the season, share a table, and spend time talking and connecting with one another.

Now in its fifth year, the gathering has taken on a new theme: sharing a space. With the hope of creating more opportunities to enjoy and take part in the experience together, we have renewed the event under a new name — Gathering Table.

昨年ご好評をいただいた、新茶と花いけを楽しむ「茶と花」の会の第二弾。

お招きするのは、5年前から山梨県の湯之奥集落で茶畑の再生を始めた、ひだかなおこさん。長い間放棄されていた茶畑に入り、草刈り、枝を整え、風を通し、少しづつ手入れを続けてこられた茶畑から、完成したばかりの新茶を使って、茶葉を使ったお料理、お菓子、ドリンクのコースをお楽しみいただきます。つくり手のお話も伺いながら、年に一度の特別なお茶を食べて飲んで満喫していただければと思っています。
また同じく5年を迎えたFarm Gardenも、季節のお花が咲きはじめました。お互いの畑で育んできた恵を分かち合おうということで、今回、畑の花を摘んでいける、お花のワークショップも一緒にお楽しみいただきました。

Following the warm response to last year’s gathering, we are pleased to welcome the second edition of Tea and Flowers — a day to enjoy freshly harvested tea and flowers from the garden.

Our guest is Naoko Hidaka, who began restoring a tea field in the Yunooku village of Yamanashi five years ago. The field had been left untouched for many years. Since then, she has slowly brought it back to life by clearing the grass, pruning the trees, and opening the field to light and air.

For this gathering, we will enjoy a course of dishes, sweets, and drinks made with freshly harvested tea from the field. While listening to Naoko share the story of her tea and the work behind it, we hope you will enjoy this special tea, available only once a year, in many different ways — to eat, to drink, and to savor.

Our Farm Garden, which is also entering its fifth year, is beginning to fill with seasonal flowers. To share the gifts we have each grown in our own fields, we will also hold a flower workshop, where you can pick flowers from the garden and create your own arrangement.
